Position: GCAL Care Consultant
Location: Atlanta
Work Status: FT (40 hrs/week)
Work Schedule: Based on business needs


• Answer all calls within response guidelines using Call Center policies and procedures and scripts necessary for screening of service requests.
• Serve as the first and primary responder for calls coming in to the contact center from agencies and can handle information only calls and other routine access calls not requiring clinical triage.
• Screen callers for immediate needs and are trained to provide warm support in the event all Clinicians are occupied with other individuals.
• Assist in monitoring and facilitating caller access to Clinicians as quickly as possible using established procedures when individuals have urgent or emergent behavioral health or developmental disability needs.
• Once service needs are determined by a Clinician through clinical triage, Care Consultants refer individuals to the appropriate public or community service using established protocols and maintain contact until the individual is linked to the appropriate service or information
• Advocate when needed, for individual and/or families to facilitate linkage. Provide follow-up as directed to assure that individual accessed services.
• Maintain Complete and accurate documentation following established policies and procedures.
• Adhere to established standards/guidelines for efficiency and productivity

Qualifications: Candidate MUST possess:
• Graduate of an accredited four year college or university
• Minimum 6 months of progressively responsible experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of office procedure and protocols as well as various office equipment including personal computers, fax machines, and multi-telephone systems
