Webinar: Proven Model for Mobile Crisis Dispatch

Wednesday, May 17, 2023

10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. PDT

BHL’s deep experience in coordinating crisis care systems and operating mobile crisis services remains an international model for behavioral health crisis “care traffic control.”

Behavioral Health Link will host a three-part webinar series to show how to deliver efficient and effective community crisis care that will reduce wait times for services, reduce mobile crisis transit times, divert unnecessary law enforcement encounters and trips to emergency departments, and improve clinical outcomes.

Join us for the first of three sessions where we’ll provide an overview with national and local perspectives on mobile crisis work and review the “care traffic control” workflow to initiate a GPS-enabled dispatch. We’ll also share insights about how the proven mobile dispatch process has worked for cities and states across the country, and we’ll offer tips and tricks to improve your own process.

This webinar will show professionals:

  • Mobile assessments to stabilize individuals in need
  • GPS-enabled mobile crisis dispatch to identify the closest team in the field
  • Features to ensure staff safety
  • Real-time documentation to cut down on paperwork trails
