GEORGIA MOBILE CRISIS RESPONSE

For over 29 years, Behavioral Health Link (BHL) has been an expert in crisis services for mental health, substance use, and developmental disabilities. Our statewide call center is nationally recognized as one of the best crisis call center providers in the U.S.

BHL offers mobile crisis response teams that provide free, around-the-clock crisis intervention services. These services include:

BHL adopts a personalized approach, meeting clients at their current state and connecting them to the level of care that best fits their needs.

Our services aim for prompt crisis intervention and guide individuals to the right services, focusing on their strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences to overcome any obstacles or delays.

INPATIENT AND OUTPATIENT REFERRALS

For individuals who require inpatient services, our mobile crisis teams collaborate closely with the Georgia Crisis and Access Line (GCAL) or private providers to ensure a seamless transition to the right care facility.

When outpatient services or other community-based supports are recommended, a certified peer specialist will take the lead in providing dedicated follow-up support. This specialist ensures continuous care by maintaining contact until a firm connection with the recommended services is established, guaranteeing no one falls through the cracks during their journey to recovery.

CONNECTING THE BHL PLATFORM TO MOBILE CRISIS SERVICES

The BHL Platform alerts, coordinates, and monitors mobile crisis response teams, ensuring swift and customized care is delivered promptly, either as a complement to or an alternative for traditional 911 emergency services. This innovative system ensures individuals in crisis receive the most appropriate and immediate support when and where it is needed.
