GPS-Enabled Mobile Crisis Response
Mobile assessments provide an alternative to a law enforcement response which occur far too frequently across our nation. An effective clinical mobile response can stabilize individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis, often avoiding unnecessary emergency department visits. This provides a more collaborative outcome for individuals by linking them to appropriate care.
Our GPS-enabled mobile crisis dispatch allows the provider to identify the closest, available team in the field and send the dispatch electronically, thus reducing transit times.
The module supplies clinicians with industry standard assessments and enables recommended interventions, with real-time documentation capabilities in the field.
The module also includes built-in safety features such as electronic staff check-ins and a method to silently call 911 if needed.
BHL dispatches over 20,000 mobile assessment teams a year, with law enforcement involvement in less than 20% of the cases.

BHL Dispatch Monitor Tool
Using the BHL software, all dispatches are recorded on BHL’s Dispatch Monitor which is an at-a-glance view of the individual’s crisis location, primary presentation, age, assigned mobile response team, and other pertinent information regarding the dispatch.
Mobile teams update their status via the dispatch monitor as they progress through the dispatch process.
A companion to the dispatch monitor is GPS-enabled access which allows the dispatcher to track each mobile team member throughout the dispatch encounter.
Communication between the dispatch dashboard and responders enables status updates to instantly reflect in real-time on the dashboard.
