State of Georgia Utilizes BHL Platform to Enhance Crisis Care

During the 2023 CrisisCon Conference in North Carolina, the state of Georgia gave a presentation about how the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health Development Disabilities (DBHDD) has built the capacity to meet the increased demand of 988.

According to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Georgia has emerged as a national leader in providing support for individuals experiencing mental health and substance use crises.

  • Examples of technologies and tools across their crisis continuum platform and how the state uses these to streamline services
