988 is the first step in reimagining our mobile crisis response, but there’s more work to do after the visit to ensure care connections are made, and the person in crisis feels stable to move through the follow-up process. When an individual needs more assistance, treatment may require a warm hand-off, or follow-up care from peer support and outpatient services to more intensive assistance such as hospitalizations. Join BHL as we walk through special circumstances, best practices, and lessons learned to ensure individuals and families feel supported after a mobile crisis visit.
This webinar will teach professionals about:
- Care collaboration with individuals and families
- In-depth safety planning and consumer satisfaction data
- On-scene peer specialist protocols and safety planning personalization
- The use of community service boards to enhance civic relationships
